COURSE INFORMATION

First Aid

Is this course Nationally Recognised?

Our First Aid course is Nationally Recognised Training, and it provides students with the highest-level certification available: Unit of Competency HLTAID003. This course is also sometimes known as Level 2 First Aid or Senior First Aid.

Do I have to renew my training?

Yes, First Aid training must be renewed. In order to remain a ‘Competent Person’ the qualification must be refreshed every 3 years. We offer both standard and refresher First Aid courses for students. 

What is a USI? Do I need one?

A USI is a Unique Student Identifier. It is a reference number that is used to keep a secure record of an individuals recognised training and qualifications. 

If you do not already have a USI you will need create one in order to complete any of our Nationally Recognised training courses. Without a USI you will not be able to receive your qualification or statement of attainment.

Do I need to have any prior experience to complete training?

No prior experience is necessary for our standard First Aid course! We will teach you everything you need to know on the day. We also offer Refresher courses in First Aid, and these do require previous experience. Our team is always available to assist you in choosing the right course.

Our First Aid course does have some required pre-reading, but this will be provided for you once your booking has been confirmed. All students must complete the Student Enrolment Form prior to attending training.

What do I need to bring on the day?

We have a fully equipped lunchroom available for all students, but please note unfortunately food will not be supplied. We recommend students organise their own lunch options. We also advise students to wear closed footwear, for safety and comfort on the training day. 

How long does the training day run for?

All courses will start at 8:30am, but students must arrive at 8:15am for registration. Any students arriving after 8:45am will not be accepted into the course. The training day will conclude at approximately 4:30pm. There will be scheduled breaks during the day also.

What is included?

We will provide all the training materials and equipment for practical learning, for all the courses we offer. Tea and coffee will be readily available in our kitchen area, and students will have access to the lunchroom, facilities and car parking onsite.

CPR

Is this course Nationally Recognised?

Our CPR course is Nationally Recognised Training, and it provides students with the Unit of Competency HLTAID001. 

 

Do I have to renew my training?

Is this course Nationally Recognised?

 

Our Confined Space Entry course is Nationally Recognised Training, and it provides students with Unit of Competency RIIWHS202D.

 

Do I have to renew my training?

 

There is no expiry date on this training - but as working in confined spaces is considered high risk, it is industry standard to renew this training every 2 years. 

 

What is a USI? Do I need one?

 

A USI is a Unique Student Identifier. It is a reference number that is used to keep a secure record of an individuals recognised training and qualifications. 

 

If you do not already have a USI you will need create one in order to complete any of our Nationally Recognised training courses. Without a USI you will not be able to receive your qualification or statement of attainment.

Our Work Safely at Heights course is Nationally Recognised Training, and it provides students with the Unit of Competency RIIWHS204D.

FORKLIFT TRAINING

 

Is this course Nationally Recognised?

 

Our Forklift Course is Nationally Recognised Training. All sucessfull students will be issued a statement of attainment for the Unit of Competency TLILIC2001.

 

Do I have to renew my training?

 

Once you have completed your face-to-face forklift training, you will need to apply for High Risk Work (HRW) Licence through WorkSafe, which must be renewed every 5 years. You will not be able to opperate a Forklift Truck without a HRW Licence.

If you are completing our 2 day Beginner Forklift Course there is no prior experience required. We will teach you everythign you need to know over the 2 days. Our Intermediate Forklift Course which runs over 1 full day is deisgned for people who do have prior experience, and just need to quickly refresh their skills and knowledge. Our team is always available to assist you in choosing the right course.

Our Order Picker course is Nationally Recognised Training. Sucessful students will be awarded a statement of attainment for the Unit of Competency TILILIC2002. 

 

Do I have to renew my training?

 

There is no expiry date on this training as such. But it is industry recommendation that training be renewed every 5 years.

Alternatively you can easily enrol on our website using the online Booking Form. Please note, the online form does not guarantee you a spot in the course. One of our team will be in touch after the form is submitted to confirm your spot. 

 

When will my booking be confirmed?

 

If you enrolled in a course using our online Booking Form one of our team will be in touch within 1-2 business days to organise payment and confirm your spot in the course. Students will receive an email with the booking details once everything has been finalised.
